The painter Claude SAUZET was born in 1941 in the Gard
 in the South of France.
 While following traditional studies,
he entered the School of Fine Arts in Nimes. By 1967, the painter  was already well known in his region.
In 1971, he started to expose
his work in Paris, rue Saint Honoré.
 He also participated
 in major shows:
The National of Fine Arts, The Automn Salon, and the Salon of French Artists etc...

Each painting is an enticement in ochre, yellow, lemon, or transparents of vermillion red or madder shellac, ever so slightly tempered with emerald greens or sea blue.
With themes constantly renewed,
his painting delights the sight
and entrances the spirit
 in a universe of dreams.

 His notoriety quickly crossed
 the borders of France.

His paintings are sought after in Japan, The United States and
in numerous countries on the African continent.
