Painter: Gil POTTIER  was born
 in 1950 in Angers, France.
School of Fine Arts in Aix (Provence).
He studied the frescos in Italy (1984) and
 his reference is Italian Renaissance.
His subject: the portrait !

Figure portrayal is his sphere, since his work deals with facial and corporal reality. Beyond the visible, through his work emanates a poetic surrealism which either  seduces or astonishes the observer.
His painting is not innocent, it does not
'represent' but rather 'suggests' and leads
the imagination to run.
