The painter Jean-Michel NOQUET was
born in Montpellier (France)
in 1950.
Medium: oil on canvas.
His work is made up of landscapes, seascapes, harbours and shores.
The
memories of his travels evoque Venice, where the imagination of the
painter mixes with his soft and warm palet of color, very
nuanced with a stylized yet evocative graphism. It is all simply the
finesse of his touch, "We see somme
of Turner in that man there !"
commented a connaisseur
(Turner was a great master
of romanticism or "romantic").
"We are lucky to be near a true painter
of the best tradition.
He is a
great master of the end
of the 20th century"
Jean Lyet, art expert for
the Appeals court of Lyon.
His principal exhibits started in 1975 at the Berheim Gallery in
Paris. He received the Prix d'Aquarelle at the Salon des Boucles de la
Seine in Bougival.
These prizes and exhibits were followed by more
throughout France and in Japan and the United States.
He is an
internationally
renowned painter.
